Chapman Creek

Writer's picture: Lia GiesbrechtLia Giesbrecht

Decided to wander around and found a trail close to the hotel where I’m staying. It rained pretty much all night and most of the morning. So I knew it was going to be wet and muddy And for some reason I decided not to wear my hikers and wore my running shoes which were covered in mud by the time I got back lol. It was so muddy and slippery with a rope section but the forest was so green and lush after the rain. I did about 6.5km it follows chapman creek before it goes uphill aka rope section then joins a very nice wide more maintained trail. There is a memorial at the top for a local boy that passed away.
